"I'll be fine." He reveled in even the slight attention, tipping his head to enjoy the touch greedily for however long it lasted. It wasn't as if people weren't kind to him; he coaxed friendliness out of as many people as he managed fistfights and many of them quite lovely individuals. But that didn't stop him from indulging in every one of them, especially hers, as if he was half starved.
